I suppose I should write something

So here it is, a new blog.
I am sure that you are desperate to find out what this little piece of the blogosphere (why does that word annoy me?) intends to inflict on the world. Well so am I!
To be perfectly honest there is no real agenda or goal to the ramblings that will appear here. I have opinions on many things relating to Thanet but am so far from being politically inclined that I cannot see myself going into lengthy debates on any of the sort of subjects that seem to dominate the other blogs. Probably the odd mention, supplemented with the occasional rant, will suffice my yearnings on those sort of subjects (that does not sound grammatically correct but..).
This is the first blog I have actually had, although I have run several local web sites in the past and to be honest only realised there were so many Thanet blogs when I (half) read the article in the local paper about everyone not playing nicely. To be perfectly honest, despite browsing all the blogs on Thanet Blog List (does anyone know if they usually take a while to put new links on their site or should I resubmit my details?) I still do not know the real nature of the Thanet Blog Fall-Out and do not really care. If people want to bicker they will find something to bicker about.
To be honest I never intended to have to start updating the blog before I had decided on what I was actually going to do with it, but as the blog worlds top comment maker, Mr Anonymous, has somehow found his way here then I should really find something interesting to write.
But for now this is it!

Why hasn't anyone looked at me yet?

I thought that my single solitary post of no importance, save to say that I was testing the posting system, would have had the good people of Thanet flocking to the blog and going off on lengthy discussions about the forthright and extremely valid points made in that there post.

But no. No-one has bothered. Perhaps it is because I am the only person who knows about it so far. But what about word of mouth? Granted I have not passed the information on to anyone, so word of mouth would be fairly difficult. But then again why should I put it on a plate for everyone to find it? It is typical of today's society that a blog can no longer be started and within around 11 minutes become the talk of the internet, provide a revenue stream that will earn the brains behind it untold riches and see the authors paraded on chat shows around the world.
No sir. The blog is no more. You heard it here first. Blogs are going the way of the dinosaur, the dodo and any fading hopes that Dreamland will once again thrill to the sound of people throwing up over other passengers on the Scenic Railway. It has been a great ride and I have loved every single one of the approximate 20 minutes I have spent turning this blog into the wonderful creature it is.
But what about the fallout from the death of blogging? How many questions are left unanswered? Even on my fountain of knowledge there are answers that have not, and therefore never will, be answered.
Did I have some kind of political agenda? Was I an authority of some sort that would be of extreme interest to the residents of Thanet? Was I about to reveal the solution to the age-old wish to harness the power of perpetual motion?
Well, to be honest dear readers, you will now never know. And who is to blame? You!
You could have helped. You could have spread the word. You could have got me off my posterior and made me write something worthwhile. But you didn't. And now you can all mourn as much as you like but you must remember one thing. It is all your fault!
Signing off
